Another clock? how many are there now? but.......
this one is different 8-).
It opens a font independent, scaleable, wb1.x/2.xx/3.x compatible,
window with the current time displayed in words.
The window will alter its width according to the length of the current
title and takes into account the font used. This does have a slight
problem when using proportional fonts under wb2.xx and above because
intuition returns a string length that is greater than the actual
length it will use.
Two menu items are also provided for author info and quit functions.
This is my first program on general release for the Amiga. I have two
other programs under developement, one of which is a Project-X clone
which runs in a window on workbench. So far it has parallax scrolling,
music, sound effects, multiple bullets, aliens, power-ups and huge mother
aliens at the end of the levels, and it's fully multi-tasking. It's called
Project-WB and should be finished by the end of Jan'93. The other program
is due for commercial release later this year(June maybe). Can't say much
about it at the moment I'm afraid.
That's all folks......
Thanks go to Colin "Foggy" Etwell, Melville "The Rev.Digestive" Carrie
and Howard "68k" Manwaring for beta-testing,
encouragement/eating all my biscuits(fat git) and technical
help respectively.
